Board and Train Program
Board and Train is our fastest, most reliable program.
Our unique Board and Train program provides all the benefits of typical in-kennel professional training, without having to be separated from your dog for long periods of time. Our unique approach to behavioral wellness focuses on helping your dog achieve balance through instinctual fulfillment and enrichment as well as traditional training and behavior modification techniques. From basic obedience training to off-leash training, our Board and Train program will consist of one-on-one time with their trainer during the week with a “go-home” lesson for you at the end of the week along with follow-up homework for you both.
Benefits of Board and Train:
- Board and Train offers faster results through one-on-one work with a training professional
- Your dog will experience more immersive learning in our distraction free environment where every decision is guided and reinforced. Many dogs find this environment to be very therapeutic.
- Less Stress On You. We will work through the challenging early stages of training, and the tedious repetition that you may not have time for.
- Our Board and Train programs offer enhanced customization. The amount of time we spend with your dog allows us to get to know him or her on a much deeper level. This way we can develop specific strategies and exercises directly targeted toward each individual. This is especially valuable in behavioral cases.

Private Lessons
Customized private lessons are conducted at our training center and last approximately 60 minutes each. In contrast to traditional group classes, our focus is on teaching you to handle and train your dog. We will cover leash training, obedience, effective communication and leadership along with your specific training goals. We move at you and your dogs pace and target the skills and behavior modification that is important to you. Private lessons are conducted on a one-on-one basis with an experienced trainer, which provides for an optimal learning environment.

Life Skills with Your Dog Group Class
Basic training is important for every dog to help them live successfully in a human world.
This class will teach you how to effectively communicate with your dog and how to teach them important life skills including drop it, leave-it, wait, recall, place, leash skills and more, and then proof those skills to be reliable in the real world. In addition to covering traditional on-leash training our unique approach to training emphasizes instructing you, the human, on how to behave in a way that encourages your dog to naturally follow your guidance. We prioritize our focus, concentrating on the skills that will most directly impact your quality of life and ability to integrate your dogs into your daily activities without stress and frustration.

Day Training
Our Day Training program was developed as an extension to Board and Train and Private Lessons and to provide stand-alone Advanced Pack Socialization (APS).
Day Training is offered to established clients to work on the following skills:
- Proofing general obedience with distractions and distance
- Refreshing general obedience skills
- Introducing e-collar during the course of a private lesson package
- Introducing crate training strategies
- Refreshing leash training including manners and leash reactivity strategies
- Counter conditioning for grooming/nail trims
- Mental and Physical exercises, as well as confidence building through Enrichment activities

Socialization
Our team has spent over a decade developing our approach to rehabilitation. Through a careful process, we have been able to socialize even the toughest and most serious cases.
Our approach to socialization is grounded in the fact that all dogs are naturally social creatures and have particularly strong social drives. Our process utilizes those natural drives to help dogs overcome fear and stress, and to build the dog’s confidence and balance.
