Our Next Puppy Class:
The next open class begins on Monday, March 16th at 6:30pm and will run for 5 weeks!
What will you and your dog learn in Puppy Class?
Puppies and owners will learn great foundations to begin a path for life long learning as well as still have fun. Time will also be set aside for puppy socialization, a vital aspect of puppy development. During this class, your instructor will guide you through starting your puppy on the basic obedience commands and leash walking skills, as well as general puppy behaviors and issues over the course of a five week program.
- Puppies will need to be between 8 weeks and 6 months of age (at the start class)Â
- Puppies should have 1 Distemper/Parvo vaccines, as well as Kennel Cough (Bordetella or Intratrac).
- We require that puppies receive their first Rabies vaccine no later than 4 months (16 weeks) of age, as per NYS law. We are aware that some dogs may be attending the class without a Rabies vaccine. This is acceptable for this program because the timing of socialization is important to begin at a young age. Please ensure that your dog will have the required vaccines prior to the start of class and before completing this registration.
- This course is $189 and runs for 5 weeks. Once it has begun, there are no opportunities to make up any missed classes.
- Class size is limited to 8 puppies and two handlers per puppy.
