Where puppies can build the foundation for healthy relationships, better adaptability, and overall emotional stability
Puppy Socialization is Foundational!
Sign up for our weekly gathering where owners and their puppies (ages 12-24 weeks, all breeds) can enjoy fun, off-leash social time together.
It’s important for puppies to learn to socialize and play appropriately. These early experiences are crucial for their development into well-adjusted, confident adult dogs. Socialization helps them become accustomed to various people, animals, and environments, reducing the likelihood of fear-based behaviors and aggression. Proper play, on the other hand, can teach them essential skills like bite inhibition and appropriate interaction with other dogs and humans. By engaging in positive social experiences and learning how to play appropriately, puppies build the foundation for healthy relationships, better adaptability, and overall emotional stability throughout their lives.
This is not a training class, but you will have K9 Connection experts on-hand to give guidance and advice on how to properly socialize your young pup in a safe environment.
The weekly event is $15 per dog or $39 per dog for a 3 social package. Each social is limited to 10 dogs and two handlers per dog. You can also come as often as you like until your dog is too old for the class.
- Your dog MUST BE REGISTERED in order to attend.
- Your dog must be up to date on all vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and Kennel Cough
- Your pup should be mostly house trained
- Please do not feed your dog less than 60 minutes before attending to avoid any possibility of vomiting and bloat
- Please do not bring treats or toys for your puppy. We want them to socialize and not focused on people, rewards or other distractions
- For safety reasons, no children under 10 years old please. Some puppies are bigger than others and small children can be accidentally knocked over and get hurt
- Overly aggressive or reactive dogs will be removed for the safety of other dogs and people
- Please note that K9 Staff will interrupt and provide guidance when inappropriate play takes place
- This event is for your dogs to have fun and learn to socialize with other dogs. Please limit contact with other puppies and encourage your own dog to play.
